Posting on Truth Social, Trump insisted that Obama “manufactured the Russia, Russia, Russia HOAX,” and accused Clinton, Biden, and others of participating in the scheme. He described it as a “major threat” backed by “irrefutable evidence.”
These comments coincided with the US Department of Justice receiving a criminal referral from former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who alleged a “treasonous conspiracy” among senior officials from the Obama administration to delegitimize Trump’s win and undermine the democratic process. Gabbard claimed Obama and his national security team laid the foundation for a prolonged attempt to remove Trump by allegedly fabricating intelligence suggesting Russian interference.
According to Gabbard, Obama-era officials also provided misleading information to the media, including The Washington Post, about Russia’s cyber efforts to influence the election outcome. In response to these revelations, Trump shared a video on Truth Social highlighting Democratic leaders’ calls for accountability, concluding with an AI-generated clip depicting Obama’s arrest in the Oval Office.
