Airport Worker Gets Suspended for Shouting “Free Palestine”
Philippe Tabarot confirmed late on Tuesday that the episode, which occurred during the morning of August 11, was examined following a grievance filed by the crew of Israel’s El Al airline.
The inquiry determined that the employee at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport had vocalized “Free Palestine” during a radio communication with the El Al crew, Tabarot reported on the American social media platform X.
He emphasized that the individual’s comments breached radio communication regulations, which must be confined to subjects related to “the safety and order of air traffic.”
“He has been suspended from all duties pending further notice. A disciplinary process was promptly launched,” Tabarot added.
