Two Kuwaiti Naval Personnel Killed Amid US-Iran Conflict

(MENAFN) Kuwait announced on Monday that two members of its naval forces lost their lives amid the ongoing confrontation between the United States and Iran.

In an official statement, the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces confirmed that Sgt. Walid Majid Suleiman “was martyred while on duty.”

Later the same day, the military reported the death of another naval serviceman, Sergeant Abdulaziz Abdulmohsen Dakhel Nasser, who was killed Monday evening while carrying out his national responsibilities.

Authorities did not disclose additional information regarding the exact circumstances of the incidents.

The broader regional climate has grown increasingly volatile since Saturday, when the US and Israel initiated a large-scale assault on Iran. The strikes resulted in the deaths of several senior Iranian figures, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, according to reports.
