Provided by AGPThe finding was announced by the country’s Digital Economy and Society Ministry in coordination with the Health Ministry. Authorities said the virus was identified through an ongoing wildlife monitoring system operating under the “One Health” framework, which tracks connections between animal, human, and environmental health.

The discovery comes as many countries continue expanding surveillance programs aimed at identifying emerging viruses in wildlife before they spread to human populations.
