White House Says Trump to Receive Annual Physical Exam on May 26
(MENAFN) According to reports, the White House has announced that US President Donald Trump is scheduled to undergo his annual physical examination on May 26 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
The statement said, “This will include the president’s routine annual dental and medical assessments as part of his regular preventive health care,” adding, “The president will also spend time with service members and staff at Walter Reed in recognition of their service, professionalism, and dedication to the nation.”
Trump, who is 79 years old, has recently faced increased public attention regarding his health.
Observers have noted recurring bruising on his hands, which has occasionally been covered with makeup. The White House has previously attributed this to his regular use of aspirin and frequent handshaking due to his official duties.
He has also been seen with swelling in his ankles, which his doctors have reportedly linked to chronic venous insufficiency.
The president last reportedly visited a dentist during a weekend trip to Florida on May 2.
Separately, Trump disclosed in October that he underwent an MRI scan during a hospital visit last year, although he did not reveal the reason for the test or specify which part of the body was examined.
